Pr1me Page Game

We were learning about creating a game to help show other people about our understanding of Pr1me maths.

I found it easy to make the characters.

I found it hard to code all the different objects.

I really enjoyed making the levels (including bonus levels).

Next time I need to try make the game longer/harder and new levels.

5 Second Blogger Intro

Today we were learning about making an intro video using Wevideo.

I found it easy to find the music for it.

I found it hard to think of what I was going to do for the video in Five seconds.

I really enjoyed editing the video with all the effects.

Next time I could try and make the video a bit different with different edits.

Tipu Scratch Game

Today we were learning about making a game to teach people Maori.
I found it easy to make the character.
I found it hard to make the code at the start.
I really enjoyed creating the game itself.
Next time I need to add more characters.
Just so you know It's not quite finished yet so I'll fix it Asap!

Copyright Challenge

We were learning to make a presentation with no copyright images.
It was easy to find the images for it.
It was hard to think about what I like (It was hard to think of things like my favourite animal and more)
I really enjoyed making it look cool.
Next time I should update it more like my age and delete the text.

Tipu Video

We were learning about using Te reo in our video.
I found it easy to come up with the ideas.
I found it hard to edit it.
I enjoyed creating the video and using the effects.
Next time I could try making it a bit different with a different theme.

Piskel Character

For Manaiakalani we made Piskel characters. 

We were learning about using Piskel to make characters for a game.

I found it easy to make the colours and make the expressions.

I found it hard to animate them. I needed

I really enjoyed making the emotion on the characters.

Next time I need to make longer animations or make them look better.

I Think The Lockdown Is Working

I think the COVID-19 lockdown isn't good or even very fun. I think we should still be able to the other members in our family. When lockdown first started when we were at school everyone thought it was an amazing idea. I felt sad when school closed and we couldn't see our friends.

We can't see our friends anymore in person. With this lockdown we can't have sleepovers or even visit our friends. If we do want to talk we have to do it using our devices, usually you wouldn't be aloud to. Some of my friends don't have their own personal account to communicate, so I can't even see most of them.

The Coronavirus has stopped many people from going to school due to the lockdown. It's harder to learn at home because we don't get to learn with our friends and teachers. I enjoy going to school and I'm disappointed having to stay at home all day. School is fun and we get to learn with our friends (lockdown is the opposite).

All our parents and family still have to work. Think about it, some peoples family members work for hours and hours, sitting at their office all day. So much for family time, meaning you can't always spend time with them. The fun part of lockdown is spending time with family but you barely ever can.

We can't see our friends, school has been shutdown and it can be stressful having family work from home. Those are the reasons why I dislike the lockdown. During this time at home, stay safe.
